Century 21 Canada has made a significant move into downtown Vancouver with the successful conversion of a former top Realty World operation. Century 21 In Town Realty brings the Vancouver‑based franchisor back into the city’s downtown core, with a 20 per cent share of the condominium resale market.
“We have been planning for some time to re‑establish the Century 21 presence in downtown Vancouver, but have been waiting for the right opportunity,” says Brian Rushton, senior vice-president of Century 21 Canada. “We found it in Century 21 In Town Realty, an award‑winning real estate company that adds considerable strength to our existing network of offices in the lower mainland.”
The firm is owned by Marv Graves and has 45 salespeople operating out of its Yaletown office, with a kiosk in the west end of the city. Graves is looking forward to a busy year under his new banner. “The positive impact of the new Liberal government, extremely low vacancy rates and some of the lowest inventories in years should result in higher demand, which will contribute to steady increases in property values throughout the city,” he says.
